[THE CHICKENATOR 2000]

a review ?

First off I am ROTFLMAO for the fact you have two interesting things here, a male chicken shooting eggs from the front (instead of back) (and shouldn't that be a rooster?) and packing firearms to top it off where somehow the egg is coming out !

While it was VERY funny to play, it wasn't, ahhm.. too easy to play. Consider half speed and more intelligent enemies, other than that, not bad. Whatta game ! :D

A very nicely done game, exceptional graphics, well-done audio, level-ability, and even map editing, but once again, this is not an entirely original game. It's Pac-Man. :)

Is it just me or does it seem like the AI of the ghosts hits zero after the first level ?

In the Original KABOOM game however, the player was given an advantage of having 3 tiers of water paddles to stop the bombs with. When the player missed one, a tier was taken away and it was that much harder to catch the bombs.

Good game overall, however.

The graphics were AWESOME, but the gameplay was a bit too frenzied. Maybe run at half the speed and allow the player more free-fall time ?

Play the original Bombjack Game to see where this idea of yours is going.

superb work

In future games though, please do not have enemies appear constantly when the player is not moving. This is not done in most platform games and generally the player must move forward to meet new enemies instead of them reappearing constantly despite the player's movements.

Nice job, especially on the 1st person perspective with the automatic weapon. It would be interesting to see you mix this with some of the other 3-D shooters out there where the background scrolls to reveal new targets and opponents (which fire back).

Is there a way to make it so only the POV is the only field of view to avoid ? I have not been able to get past level 4 since it is not just the POV but seemingly the direction the teacher is facing as well and I can't guess that.

An additional flag like an EYEBALL icon to show that the player is "IN VIEW" of the teacher would help to get the timing down for when to move and cheat.

Otherwise, neat game !
