Not bad ..

While I dearly despise looking at stick figures except for a named few like XiaoXiao, you did a great job on this game. Needs more elements to it, but the controls were tight and everything worked well.

Good luck on your ratings !

David

Well ..

The music is a bit repetitive, write me if you need some longer Mp3s.

The story ? Well, while it's all good and fun to say you don't like school and to blow away the teacher with a rifle body parts flying everywhere, that just teaches negative values. Including the girl in the hallway who wanted you to shoot her.

You are a VERY good artist for SWF but this story, I found pretty offensive.

Sorry. :)

What RPGs can you make that have more humor and less violence ?

David

Very Nice ...

I'm not really a SpongeBob SquarePants fan, but you did a good job on this. Maybe something a bit more kinky and involving anime girls in the future would get a higher rating from me. :)

Not good ..

Looks an AWFUL lot like Punchout for the NES.
I have a NES emulator. Let's see some original games. :)

Not good ..

Jamus, definitely not one of your better works.
I was VERY responsive on level 2, didn't stop once except to shoot baddies and the timer still ran out. There is a level after 2, right ? :)

Graphics really didn't look good. Reminds me of some pretty low-class shooters ..

Your finest achievements are still:
Curse Of The Dark Prophecy Alpha 2
Gunblaze (the first one minus the JPEG trash).

Psst .. hey, show a bit of panties (g'wan!) for the girls you rescue in Gunblaze for your updated versions ! ;)

ERROR

Access violation at address 00B969B1 in module 'flash.ocx' Read of address 02B44000.

It's a consecutive error, it shows up every time after the 5th target.

First time I've seen an error in FLASH.
I'm running a 2.0ghz WinXP IExplorer v6.0.2800.

The JPEG-trash is pretty messy to get your 3-D effects. Please use VECTORS in future shooters. Thanks. :)

Babes & Bullets ..

It just doesn't get any better than this.

Little word though, it REALLY should not take 12+ bullets to bring down one unarmored person. If you hit in vitals *ouch* or head or on the chest that should bring them down instantly.

Maybe make the gun-site RED so it's easier to see.

NICE JOB on view-zoom-lens for when you "win" to gape at the girl.. :)
This is reminiscent of some of those Arcade Games that never made it back from Japan.

EXCELLENT WORK.

David

Good ..

Those arrows fly up just a nice too fast though.
Start at half speed. Sure that's ridiculously slow but you build up to normal and then high speed. Save the double-arrow key combos for difficult levels.

THANK YOU for not requiring the arrow to be dead-set-on-the-pixel like most reaction games are to get a combo.

Also, LOSE the negative voice kibitzer. I already have my G/F telling me when I was screwing up playing this game and don't need another voice to add to it. :)

David

Exceptional ..

Might wanna change the music to something from FLASHKIT though cause the makers of Parasite Eve, Squaresoft are gonna eat ya for lunch. :)

I Got the game to work.
C777, you are quite right. It's screwed. :/
The password is REQUIRED for the FIRST field.

The password for my character is:

EIf{niaVDyWAb

I HIGHLY recommend you highlight over the password, use COPY/PASTE as appropriate.

Leave the 2nd field with the words:

Unknown Passage

Click on the wax seal. The game comes up then.
Jamus, not everyone is going to be this computer savvy. Don't require a password just to start the game and not EVERYONE is going to want to answer the 12 Zodiac questions just to get a character to start the game. Have some defaults.
Single step ONE click for default character and instant start game at least.

[Spacebar] to attack. Use the arrow keys to control the player. Stay out of the cone visions of enemies very much like Metal Gear Solid for the PSX or the new Flash game Classroom.

I'm not very happy that the view is TOTAL top-view. It's hard to see the player sometimes. I think even MGS had a bit of tilt to the camera so you could see the player's legs.

Dead monsters should stay dead. Reviving them is just more work for the player to kill them again. If you are trying to build up the player's experience points, consider random encounters.

While I'm not knocking it cause you can take advantage of the lack of it. The game could be adjusted so if one guard is in the "red" (alert mode) if he beams a red alert to a different guard (not where their beam (both beams) but the sprite itself), then they too become "red" and alert.

Other than that, this is an EXCEPTIONALLY well done game with outstanding vector graphics, high quality music and sound effects and should be listed in the ADVENTURE category as it is not.

I am Chaotic Neutral. I don't necessarily do what is right or wrong, but I am often there to help you. :)
