you need me ?
No, I'm flattered really.
Ahhm .. This was awful brief for a 2.5meg movie.
Didn't see too much animation in there either with people/figures..
Ah well. :)

very good
You said not to compare it with the others so I won't. By prolonging the boss combat, one way would be to do it similar to XiaoXiao where you can see the boss backing away and is trapped. Losing a limb (arm) or two in combat is good too where combat continues and the hero(heroine?) still finds the boss a worthy opponent.
The boss is not that "rough." Boss combat should threaten the hero within an inch of his(her?) life and be right on top of the player every second even though they are not ready yet.
Refer to XiaoXiao for good boss combat.
Naturally the Poninjas are your own and rightfully so. You do what you feel is best.
GREAT JOB on getting the -MMM- frames/sec. animation and lightning fast movements. That is your greatest asset. :)

Yea, mah boss fights are a bit edgy... but when i start the fight, i think "damn, that white guy really needs a good ass whoopin'" and then i kill him... lol thnx
much better
Definitely better than Eggzmaster, sorry, but the difference is there.
The way the Poninjas die is impressive but there should be something truly spectacular for defeating the boss, a la Final Fantasy. Give it some thought. :)
Once again excellent work.
David
sorry ..
The human eye can witness better than 30fps and most of your animations were less than 10.
Let AngryMouse do the Poninjas, please.
It is the crispness and sharp detail of movement that make it such a delight on NG.
David
Wow ..
Just goes to show you that complex graphics do not necessarily make for an excellent SWF but usage of exceptionally well-animated figures and story do.
Great job !
David
ouch ..
Sorry but I'm finding this film offensive and non-productive.
David
excellent intro
Kind of petered out from there.. Too much unneccessary violence. I'm grading for humor and re-watch value. :)
David
good
But why on earth did you make the viewing screen so small ? I finally clicked on ZOOM halfway thru the film to see it better.
This is excellent work, otherwise.
Keep it up. :)
David
well ..
I am beginning to see quite a few SWF that rip *cough* BORROW sprites but this is the first I've seen that borrows backdrops from SNES carts as well. I don't know .. I'm just wanting that custom look where everything is original including the backdrops.
You really worked on this, I can see that (playing your SWF) but it's just not for me.
Sorry. :)
David
I am Chaotic Neutral. I don't necessarily do what is right or wrong, but I am often there to help you. :)
