[Zelda, the flyin' thing]

Pretty good ..

You can increase the size of your workspace when you save your FLASH so it will be bigger in final form.

Good animation, usage of sprites, some humor, and story. I didn't entirely understand all of it but ah well. :)

Sad and beautiful ..

Very nicely presented. Excellent artwork, animation, and presentation, Dan. Music tremendously added to the sense of Lain's sorrow.

Unprecedented ..

The ONLY thing missing is the voices of the two actors in the movie. DAMN, excellent movie but text bubbles to read. My only complaint.

This has to be the absolute firstmost and foremost finest movie in any format I have ever seen that so very clearly details the incredible paradox of maturity vs. innocence.

GRAPHICS 10
Covered the most serious of subjects and tragic of times in our lives.

SOUND 10
The singing was our interpretation of the mounting chaos.

INTERACTIVITY 10
ALL of us can relate to this film.
Tremendous interactivity value.

STYLE 10
I have never seen this attempted before now.
Sharp as a diamond cut a millionth of a millimeter in width.

VIOLENCE 10
Held nothing back, showed the real horror we all face in our heads.

HUMOR 10
Directly applied to us. I'm still laughing deep inside. So amusing but so dead stark point true.

OVERALL 100
I wish this were possible.
Absolute & best tribute, the flower to humanity and our self-awareness.

It's time I got involved in this mess I suppose.

I wrote Josh in Email because after reading consecutive angry

replies from him to others, he left this open:

"SOS: IF THERE IS ANY ANIME FAN WHO ISN'T A FUCKING UNINTELLIGIBLE AND RETARDED CUNT, PLEASE COME OUT. Thank you. "

So I did write him, in Email, since I knew that I would not be able to reply in this limited "review" process.

First off, let's look at the mechanics behind the rating and reply process. NG, good system that it is, ONLY allows the flash developer to get the last word in every time. There is NO WAY anyone can counter, retort, or defend themselves against what he says for the mere fact that it allows him the final word and that person's "review" is the only way to contact him, and only once, per flash that he has written, since we "honor" not sending him Email on this.

I have NO DOUBT in my mind that he doesn't want me or anyone else to Email him for the mere fact that he will NOT be able to stand up to a true one-on-one confrontation of intelligence and inquiry.

Let's just leave it at this.
Josh, bright as he is, acted like an idiot for posting a fake tribute to Anime. Much like Trekkies and devoted Star Wars fans that many of us are, he attempted to dismantle something that many of us share in common, our fondness and appreciation for Anime.

We ALL KNOW this was acting without really thinking of the consequences on his part, but Josh really doesn't need it rubbed in his face any further. Just consecutively BLAM every day the Tribute To Anime FLASH (you can BLAM the same FLASH every day once every 24 hours) until it is gone or (if it is unremovable by the mechanics of NG), has a low enough score to show him just what a wrong decision it was to slam such a popular interest, IF you feel the need to.

Josh, you are welcome to write your FLASH to express your opinion but HOW DARE YOU place people quite possibly very emotional about this subject in such an incriminating position where you and only you can get the last word in (and I haven't seen too many kind ones from you either) and give them NO chance to defend themselves. It's a good situation for you. I can WELL imagine you don't want anyone writing you Email for the mere fact the conversation level would be equal.

By ALL MEANS don't expect to carry on an argument or intelligent debate in the "review" area of NG with Josh since he and only he will be given the last word due to the mechanics of NG's review process.

This is all I have to say.

Josh, now you can get your final word in because I'm done here, and I know I've done some good today.

When I saw their heads a-bopping to the beat I thought this was going to be an excellent RAP music parody. Nope, partial nudity, interrupted music, and data .. ?? .. first emotion.

Not good .. If you can animate this well, you should make a music video with the cast and crew.

Exceptional camera movements, sprite rotation, audio/music, lens flare, ballistics, stunts, and I'm pretty sure you're catering was good too. :)
