. .. ?! ..

WTF !?

I sure hope you were drunk AND regret making this flash when you were ! Couldn't watch more than 5 sec of it.

* Well .. *

Punisher, I agree with you on some points.

But first off realize this is NOT violence, it's releasing the poor woman from anymore suffering.

It's funny in a cynical way, but Sirkowski handled her far better than her own relatives who insisted she "stay alive" even though there is no brain function.

THOSE kind of people are sick.
If my brain is gone, please let me die with dignity, even if my body hasn't caught up yet. :)

* Good .. *

The B&W film-rolling effect is fine for the beginning, but once Cloud enters the outside map, I think it would be better if the Flash were color from there.

Regarding random combat, it might be interesting instead of a swirl effect to show the monsters jump out from nowhere to tackle him with a high pitched cry of "Banzai!"

The "innocent" humor is nice but we're all big boys and girls here on NG so please don't hold back on the innuendos.

Also, "Tihfa?" I thought it was "Teefa" :)

* Operation Overkill *

Having only seen your beginning "Madness" series I am delighted to see that you have improved your artistry and animation since then.

Reality compromised.
Interesting theory.
I was expecting things like shadows, bricks, etc. to all be at the Klown's command. If there ever was something to combat the heavens, it might as well exceed the depths of hell and go beyond that, which seemed to be at Klown's disposal.

Excellent flash.

* Please .. *

Please bring back the original "Grim Reaper." prior to series #5.

The square nose looks awful (like Michael Jackson's lack of),
and his face is too tall and skinny in #5.
In series # 1 - 4 he looks great.

Other then that, I have thoroughly enjoyed =ALL= of your
Grim Reaper Shows and look forward to future releases. :)

* Must post a review .. *

You have very good animation skills.

Now, for the next episode, please add SUBTITLES so we can read the text (as it is nearly impossible to guess it) and a nice collection of matched sound effects, incidental theme music, and other auditory enhancers such as background sound effects like LIFE, FOREST, SPACESHIP ENGINE, etc.

That's it. :)

* Very impressed *

You have very good memory recall.
I don't know too many people that know their youth that well.
I like a lot of people have learned to block it out because of what happened in it. :)

Very good artwork too.
See, you can do something besides intestines.

Oh, if that dead possessed bird is still giving you trouble, lemme know and I'll feed him to my G/F's cats, she's got 12 she keeps inside all the time. (serious)

This definitely gets the high 5 vote in my book.

* This be known *

This is not a one-person Flash, several people put it together.
If you people are going to damn this for all-too obvious reasions, then you need to realize that you are despising at least 6+ people that put this together, and that what they have done is original, unique, and forces the artist to concentrate on DETAIL rather then multiple simple similar images all for the crux state of animation.

If this is a remake of your first Flash, it is excellent.
If it is original, that is, the first Flash you wrote for Newgrounds without posting an update to it later, it is pure genius.

If the music is borrowed, it should be credited
If it's original, it is excellent and definitely adds to the ambience.

It would be =VERY= difficult for you to animate a lot of what you are doing here, so what you are doing by ObjectXY and ScaleXY is perfectly okay by me.

I've nabbed all your movies, and have only seen this first one.
The story is interesting, but not concrete.

This could add to it's likeability.
You ask a question, hint at a similar question, and then expect
the answer to be found by the viewer based upon the similarity of the two puzzles.

Despite what some people may think, I do not believe you are randomly tossing words together. There is a meaning, but the meaning is UNIQUE and INDIVIDUAL to the person viewing them and watching your Flash. Much like Katakana.

Mind you, there are no definite characters yet.
There is no-one that a person can really associate with, except
maybe the girl at the end, but none of her identity was revealed.
No location known.
No background known.
No information known.

I think we all love a mystery, however complete unknowns are never really appreciated. We all have characters we like.
I have only seen this one episode so far so undoubtedly there are tremendous improvements in each new future version, not just to presentation, but story as well ..

You are quite an accomplished artist and although animation is outside your field (mine too), you definitely have something interesting here.

Please keep up the good work, and please post:

Broken Saints 21-(02.. if there is one)
Broken Saints 22-23 (if there are any)
Broken Saints 24 (not the preview, but the complete episode made)

And Broken Saints 25-..99 (if there are any you have completed)

Good ..

But I saw this coming.
Sounded just like a bedspring's squeaking. :)

Good use of fades albeit absent from frame animations.

SecretAgentRege responds:

haha, yeah, it is kinda predictable if you either know me, or have the same mindset. It was supposed to sound sort of like bed springs, though; the end wouldn't have worked if it was, say, a monster's growl. I'm surprised more people don't find it extremely predictable.

thanks for the review

I am Chaotic Neutral. I don't necessarily do what is right or wrong, but I am often there to help you. :)
